They are now acquired by Gurugram-based online travel aggregator ixigo for an undisclosed amount. Catering primarily to budget travelers using smartphones, the platform has a one-of-its-kind feature of predicting the status of waitlisted tickets and suggesting alternate travel options to them in case of unavailability of direct connecting trains.

Dinesh Kumar Kotha is the Co-founder & CEO of ConfirmTkt. Before starting ConfirmTkt he was a Software Development Engineer in a company known as o9. He also worked as an Application Developer(Java) in IBM.
